Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

Nothing says summer better than fresh squeezed lemonade!

This is a family favorite recipe that I want to share with all of you. It’s so simple and easy with only three ingredients.

The best part about this recipe is that you can add any additional fresh fruit to make an entirely new drink.

Summertime has the best fruits and I like to take advantage of this by adding fresh fruits into all different recipes.

Lemonade Ingredients

Simple recipes often make the best recipes!

Here are the three ingredients needed to make the best summertime lemonade:

  • fresh squeezed lemon juice (enough lemons to make 1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 4 cups of chilled filtered water

Lemonade Instructions

Step 1:  Pour lemon juice in a blender, then add the sugar.

Step 2:  Blend on high speed so that the sugar granules can dissolve in the lemon juice.

Step 3:  Next add the filtered water and then blend again so combine.

It’s really that simple!

So easy and it’s fun drink to make with your kids.

Lemonade Storage

To store my fresh squeezed lemonade I love using two types of jars.

The first option is wide mouth mason jars. These are great because they are multiple purposed and the perfect size to contain your fresh lemonade.

The second option is to repurpose pasta sauce jars. These are the perfect size especially the ones from Classico.

Keep the lemonade in the refrigerator and it keeps fresh for 2-3 days.
