How to Fold A Fitted Sheet
Step #1
- Step 1: Lay your fitted sheet down on a flat surface with the elastic part facing upwards. I personally like to lay out the sheet in a vertical rectangle rather than a horizontal one because I don’t have a wide wingspan.
- Step 1.1: Identify corner one of the fitted sheet.
- Step 1.2: Flip the elastic over the corner of the fitted sheet.
Step #2
- Step 2: Find the fitted sheet corner that is opposite the one that are in your hands from step 1.2. Lay both corners down.
- Step 2.1: Grab the bottom corner seam, 3.
- Flip the elastic over the corner of the fitted sheet.
- Match up the corner with the opposite corner as shown, 4.
Step #3
- Step 3: Grab one of the two remaining corners, labeled A.
- Step 3.1: Match up corner A into the last corner, B, so that all corners are grouped together.
- Step 3.2: Shake out the sheet keeping the sheet together by securing corner B.
- Step 3.3: After shaking, lay sheet flat in the shape of a rectangle as shown below.
Step #4
- Step 4: Fold over one side of the rectangle.
- Step 4.1: Fold the square shape into 1/3rds by folding 1/3rd ways down towards your body.
- Step 4.2: Fold the remaining third to create a long rectangle.
Step #5
- Step 5: The remaining rectangle will be folded into 4 equal section, or 3 folds as shown in the marked lines below.
- Step 5.1: Fold once.
- Step 5.2: Fold again.
- Step 5.3: Fold final time.
Step #6
- Step 6: Find the fold and start to fold the fabric over itself.
- Step 6.1: Continue to fold the fabric over itself.
- Step 6.2: After completely folding over the fabric, adjust as needed.
Step #7
- Step 7: Grab your folded pillow cases.
- Step 7.1: Tuck one pillow case into the fold.
- Step 7.2: Tuck the second pillow case into the fold.
- Step 7.3: Marvel at your completed bundle!
